So excited, I got my second shot on February 1 at about 3pm at my local clinic. There was no real line, just people waiting around for scheduled appointments. Finally, it was my turn. This time I planned to have the shot in my other arm, since sleeping on my left side had hurt quite a bit with the first shot. In it went, no issues. Down the hall for monitoring went I. Nothing really.

Here’s my great news, although I had planned for a worse reaction to my second shot, my reaction was not worse. It was better, instead of being limited in activities for 3 days, it was only two. Nice to be lucky sometimes.

My partner followed up about a week later. Partner’s reaction was more intense, paralleling my experience with the first shot. My friend who also fared better than me in shot number one, had experiences similar to my partner.

It’s not been almost two weeks since shot number 2. Vaccinated numbers are increasing steadily in our community and finally, for the first time in a year, I am less scared to shop in Costco. That’s particularly good news as Chinese New Year is almost here. Kung Hee Fat Choy!
